Join Orchestra Nostalgico in the lovely Yerba Buena Gardens for an outdoor, lunchtime concert in the Esplanade Garden on Thursday, September 30th, 2010. All ages are welcome to come and listen to the sounds of film music for an enchanting hour starting at 12:30.
There is plenty of space to dance, sit and listen or have a picnic in the grass; this is a perfect way to break up the working week, and to swing to the nostalgic film music of the 70’s and beyond. Deliciously retro, yet decidedly modern, the sounds of Nina Rota, Ennio Morricone, Bernard Herman and even John Barry will be like a passport to Italy. With an all star lineup, including many members of Club Foot Orchestra, Orchestra Nostalgico has been thrilling the ears of bay area audiences for over a decade.
